NEW CARPET AT GOOD SHEPHERD
PRESCHOOL
Good Shepherd's new carpet was perchased with the
proceeds from the 2008 bake sale profits. The children are
enjoying during play and at Bible Story time too!

Joan Conklin
Honored for 25 years of Service as
Music Director
The instrumental and voice choirs of Good Shepherd
joined in a joyous presentation of music during the annual Contata Sunday
on June 8. But the very special part of the program was the
recognition
of
Joan Conklin's 25th year as the director of Music. During these 25
years, Joan has direct a variety of choirs at Good Shepherd, from youth to
instrumental to Chancel.
As part of this celebration, Joan was presented with
the initial copy of an anthem for Mixed Voices written and dedicated to
her and in remembrance of her 25 years of service. The copy was
presented to her by Tim Waller, member of the choir at the time she began
her ministry at Good Shepherd. This newly written anthem will be
ready for presentation at the beginning of the 2008/09 Chancel Choir
Season. Coffee and a special cake were served in the courtyard
between services.
