GOOD SHEPHERD CALLS SENIOR PASTOR |

 At a special meeting on October
5, 2008, The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd Congregation
voted to extend the call for Senior Pastor to Pastor Todd Wallace.
Pastor Todd and his wife, Cathi, are natives of Minnesota and currently
reside in Brooklyn Park Minnesota where Todd is Senior Pastor of Discover
Church, a two site church—Brooklyn Park Lutheran and Discover Church in
Champlin, a nearby community.Todd and Cathi Wallace have been married for 25 years and have 3 children: Nathan, in his second year at the Naval Academy; Hannah, a high school senior; and Noah, who is 9 years old. Pastor Todd has background and experience as a youth director, solo
pastor, and associate pastor in addition to his tenure as Senior Pastor
for the past 12 years at Brooklyn Park. He has also been a Naval Reserve Chaplin and been privileged to
represent the ELCA in Tanzania, South Africa and Papua New Guinea. Pastor Todd and Cathi are truly excited about beginning their ministry here among us. The transition team is already at work helping to smooth Pastor Todd's integration into the ministry at Good Shepherd. His first Sunday worshipping with us will be February 1, 2009. We continue to pray for Pastor Todd and his family in this time of transition. We also keep Discover Church (Brooklyn Park Lutheran and Discover Church in Champlin, MN) in our prayers as they embark on a Call Process of their own. MEET THE REST OF THE FAMILY....
NATHAN is 19 years
old and in his second year at the United States Naval Academy in
Annapolis, Maryland. He is studying Oceanography and hopes to be a navy
pilot or underwater demolition expert. Nathan is also on the triathlon
team. Nathan has been very enthusiastic about the family move to
California and hopes to meet everyone when he is in Sacramento for spring
break.
